About Firefighter Plane

Firefighter Plane is a one-finger fire plane game set over a bright tropical sea. Your little water bomber takes off from the airfield and heads for the islands that are on fire. Hold to dive down and skim the sea so the tank fills up, then let go to climb back over the island and dump the water on the flames below.

Timing is everything. The longer you skim, the fuller the tank, and a full tank is what puts out every fire on an island. Stay low for too long, though, and you will fly straight into the cliffs. Missions grow from two burning islands to five as you level up, the scoop zones get shorter from level 8, and rings of coins hang in the sky from level 3 for pilots who time their climb. The weather changes every three levels, from Summer Isles and Sunset Coast to the Dry Season, a Storm Front, Autumn Woods and Night Patrol, and white contrails stream from your wingtips.

Coins buy two new planes, a yellow Seaplane and a giant Jumbo Tanker, five paint jobs for the classic plane, and three upgrades: Big Tank carries more water, Fast Scoop fills the tank quicker and Coin Bonus raises the reward for every flight. If you crash, you can fly on once per flight with a full tank. Firefighter Plane works on phones, tablets and computers with no download.

How to play Firefighter Plane

1. Tap to start. The plane takes off from the runway by itself.
2. Hold the screen to dive and skim the sea. The blue bar at the top shows how full your water tank is.
3. Let go to climb before you reach the island, or the plane hits the cliffs.
4. Fly over the burning island and the water drops on the fires below.
5. Put out as many of the eight fires as you can before the finish to earn more coins.

Hold the left mouse button to dive and scoop water; release it to climb.

Phone and tablet

Touch and hold anywhere to dive and scoop water; lift your finger to climb.

Tips

• Start your dive early: the plane takes a moment to come down to the water, and every second on the sea fills the tank.
• Let go well before the island. A plane that is still low at the shoreline crashes into the cliffs.
• The second island is bigger than the first, so fill the tank right up for it.
• Big Tank is a good first upgrade: with more water on board you can douse a whole island in one pass.
• Each fire you put out pays 10 extra coins, so the fires matter even though the flight ends either way.
